"About 3 weeks ago I ordered one of the new GAHH soft tops with glass windows for my 2000 C2. Shortly after installation, the canvas started separating from the glass window. So what happened in the meantime ? The car went back to the installer, he removed it and subsequently shipped it overnight to GAHH (CA). They inspected it and are under the impression this is a one-off defective top. Basically, not enough glue was applied for the therma bonding between the glass and the canvas.
They immediately overnighted a new top which was installed earlier this week.
I picked up the car today and it looked really good.
Just as an FYI, GAHH has been great to deal with. Their customer service has been top notch.
Also, since there were several questions about this, the rear view is OK. The glass rear window is not as high as the plastic one, but seems to be wider. I don't mind it at all."
